Happy two-year work anniversary to our Head of Engineering Jamie Seaton.
We asked Jamie to talk about what the past two years have meant to him and what excites him about the future:
“Things have moved fast during my first two years at Electrified Automation.
The major step forward we made as a business that has had the biggest impact on my job is starting to manufacture our own electric motors, which we launched earlier this year.
As Head of Engineering this was a proud moment and significant milestone. It meant I had to be across not just the engineering of the product but also how we take it to market.
The main route to reaching potential customers for the motors has been trade shows and events, which has been brilliant as I have had the opportunity to meet people from around the world and introduce our technology. The feedback we’ve had has been amazing.
It’s great to have a job that takes you from working with the team designing in the office, to resolving engineering challenges on the factory floor to events all over the world.
Looking ahead to the next 12 months, I will be playing a central role in continuing to develop both the motors products and automation technology side of the business, which will keep my job interesting and no doubt very busy!
As we continue to grow, I am also looking forward to finding new talent to grow my team.”
